A Letter to Coworkers

Dr. Kamalodeen

Assalaamu Alaikum!

Alhamdulillah!

Tabaarakallah!

Allah bless all of you and your families!

I have noticed a sort of trend. Every time I send out an e-mail to this e-mail group, there is a backlash that seems to emanate from somewhere.

Sometimes, it is just “noise,” as they would say. At other times, it seems to take the form of outright attacks to distract and consume our time and energy.

Shaitan does not give up. It’s as simple as that.

So, for protection, I say:

A’oozu Billahi Minash Shaitaanir Rajeem.

And, for a new beginning, I say:

Bismillahir Rahmaanir Raheem.

I am thankful to those of you who have responded to our last email. I guess things are quite challenging for you too. Allah make things easy for you and your families and give you all the best in this world and the next.

All I can offer any of you are my ears and my duas. We are so far away from each other physically and we know so little about each other. But you folks are the closest ones to me as they say -- connected to each other by our love for the Qur’an and our commitment to take the Qur’an to every home and heart that needs it.

I hope and pray the monsoons in Kerala, India, are gone and their bad effects have disappeared. I pray that Allah gives all those affected by this tragedy better than what they lost. I hope we can also hear from all of you. Please let us know that all is well.

I have this fascination with India. It’s a fascination that grows daily. Allah bless Dr. Pasha - those two weeks that I spent there with him almost 10 years ago continue to be among the finest memories I cherish. I hope to visit India sometime again in the future, Insha Allah.

I have recently shared the following article -- "Reflections on Islam" by Dr. Pasha -- on our Twitter page and our Facebook page. What an amazing article.

Please see attached and the following link https://islamicsolutions.com//reflections-on-islam/ for ease of access. Please read and reread as many times as your hearts desire -- and as often as you feel you need to read to get full benefit from it.

What amazing writing and what amazing content and ideas. How can we not want to shout out from the highest mountain:

Hey People, check this out! This is the real thing."

I think it could be made into a booklet for printing. What do you all think?

I know I may sound like a broken record, but I don’t know of any other way of saying this: www.IslamicSolutions.com is a goldmine. No! It’s our lifeline. And we are sitting idly by twiddling our thumbs while the world is burning.

www.IslamicSolutions.com Allah’s gift to us to share with others.

We must work continuously to making this website the best website and a totally error-free one. We must work continuously to invite others to visit this website as often as possible.

We must work continuously to share the contents of this most amazing website with others -- through Facebook and Twitter, for instance, and through print and whatever other media may be available to us.

But first, we must all visit the website ourselves, as often as possible, and read the literature that is available there.

The whole idea of creating this website, and the reason Dr. Pasha devoted the past few decades for producing this literature, was to make this powerful new generation of print and audio literature available to the 21st Century world.

Both Muslim and non-Muslim.

And when a particular write-up or audio strikes you as special, please share it with us and others. And while you are doing that, please feel free to identify if there are any typos or errors.

And also let us know which articles could be printed as a booklet, or compiled together as a book. And which ones we can post on Twitter and on our Facebook page to direct people to the website.

Presently we are still working on the following manuscripts for printing:

- Reach Out Muslims
- Whither Indian Muslims
- Quote Unquote Vol 2
- Qur’an Reader -- New Edition.

I hope we are able to get the printing done soon.

But, as indicated earlier, Shaitaan is around and does not want this work and message to get out. So we all need to work together, as a group, to do this work and carry out our responsibility.

Allah bless you and your families.

Wassalaam,

END
