A Muslim Mother Departs This World in America
Dr. F. Kamalodeen
We would like to extend our deepest condolences to you and your family on the passing of your mother.
Even though we did not know her, we understand that she was family to this business of Working for Allah.
We share your loss as our own, as you too are part of our family -- bonded, as it were to "Taking the Qur'an to every home and heart that needs it -- and which one does not?"
And working with us over the years to publish Dr. Pasha's literature, at prices which obviously are "at cost" or even subsidized by you, so as to make this work easily accessible to so many across the world.
This alone is testimony of your mother's work -- nurturing and bringing up Muslim children committed to Allah.
And we pray that Allah will look upon such testimonials and overlook her mistakes and omissions and forgive her sins and give her Jannatul Firdaus.
To this end too, we are organizing a Khatm-ul-Qur'an especially for her Maghfirat.
We, currently and for several years now, have been undertaking a weekly Khatm-ul-Qur'an as well as special occasion or purpose Khatm-ul-Qur'an whenever the need arises. These Khatm-ul-Qur'an include people across several borders and time zones and as such we assign a Juz to each reader and ask them to have it read, wherever they may be, by a particular date and to let us know when the assignment has been completed.
Thereafter one of us would make a Dua asking Allah's blessings in particular on behalf of the purpose or intention of the particular Khatm.
Most if not almost all of these people are in one way or another graduates of Dr. Pasha's book Qur'an Reading Made Easy. Most learned to read the Qur'an using that book -- and quite a few directly from Dr. Pasha.
Dr. Pasha's booklet called "A Dua for One of Our Khatm-ul-Qur'an", (which is currently being printed by CedarGraphics) generally forms the basis of this Dua.
Should you or any of your family be able to join with us in any of these Khatm-ul-Qur'an, we will be happy to include you and them.
No matter the circumstances, the loss of a mother, regardless of the age of the child or the mother, still is a loss and we pray that Allah give you and your family the courage and strength to accept this loss.
END
