Clueless Muslims, Clueless World!

(Bringing Islam to the World One Concept at a Time!
Taking the Qur'an to Every Home and Heart that Needs It --
And which One Does Not?)
I don't get it. I just don't.
I don't get the fact that Muslims don't seem to get it.
And I don't get the fact that the Non-Muslims and the world don't seem to get it.
They all seem to have some vague notion that That Book – The Qur'an Karim: Dhaalikal Kitaab – is from God Almighty.
Some believe it; some allege it; some dispute it; some quietly dismiss it.
And, for some, it is just another cliché – along with a million clichés that fill their lives, and that sometimes influence and guide their actions.
So, Qur'an and God, all kinds of people make all kinds of association between the two – positively or negatively, warmly and passionately or only lukewarmly and even somewhat skeptically, their mental fingers crossed, as it were.
But these are all matter of belief – or disbelief.
If you think this assertion is true, it is belief.
If you do so – believe that Qur'an is from God – with the bottom of your heart as it were, it is faith or Iman.
And if you say "OK, let us talk about it!" it may be no more than an assumption – a working proposition that may take you in either direction: belief or lack thereof.
But what most people seem to be clueless about is a simple fact of empirical, verifiable data.
That means it is an objective reality that anyone anywhere can see with their own eyes. Regardless of who you are: whether you are a Muslim or a non-Muslim; a believer or a non-believer.
And that fact has to do with how many times the Qur'an makes a reference to God Almighty.
And it does so right in the body and text of the Qur'an.
And it does so in the most direct and unequivocal manner.
And here are the words the Qur’an uses to refer to God Almighty:
- Allah – nearly 3000 times (2660 or so).
- Rabb – nearly 1000 times (970 or so).
- Ilaah – nearly 150 times.
- Huw – more times than I could sit down and count.
And, I think, there are roughly – roughly speaking – 80,000 (eighty thousand) words in the Qur’an. I have actually seen the count of 77,439. Now, you do the math.
And those 80,000 or so words seem to comprise, by some Muslim counts, nearly 320,000 or so individual letters.
And these words and letters are contained in nearly 6300 Aayaat Karimah – what some uninformed and foolish Muslims call “Verses.”
They do so from the Lizard’s Holes of following the language of the Bible and the Christians and the West blindly.
To the Christians, the Jews and the world, the Western World that is, the Bible has “Verses.” Foolish Muslims, jumping into their favorite Lizard’s Hole declared: “Hallelujah! The Qur’an has 'Verses’ too – 6600 of them!”
And these Aayaat or passages are placed inside the boundaries and secure firewalls of 114 Surahs – for, that is more or less what the expression, Surah, means: a protective wall or enclosure of some kind.
And each of these 114 Surahs begins with the clarion declaration of God’s overarching Love and Mercy for his creation:
“In the Name of God,
the Most Merciful,
the Most Merciful!”
Except one Surah – Surah #9, Surah Tawubah. For, that Surah, Surah Tawubah that is, does not begin with Bismillahir Rahmanir Rahim.
That Surah does not start out with a Universal Message of Mercy for All, but with a very specific, clear and stark warning to the Law Breakers among the enemies of God and his Messenger, Sallallahu Alaihi wa Sallam, concerning the fate that was about to overtake them, right here in this world, as well as in the next world, due to their unending betrayal and treachery.
That Surah begins with the blood-freezing news that God and God’s Messenger, Sallallahu Alaihi wa Sallam, will no longer stand by the Bad Guys or give them quarter.
The Mushrikeen or polytheists of Makkah in this case!
Because they so brazenly broke the sacred covenants and treaties they entered into with God and His Messenger, Sallallahu Alaihi wa Sallam!
Baraa-atun Minallahi wa Rasoolihi!
Allah is the very special and unique name God Almighty chose for himself. Nothing in the world sounds like it. Nothing in the world works like it.
But in ordinary English language, Allah could be taken to mean God.
So, God Almighty declares in that Surah, right at the outset, that God and His Messenger, Sallallahu Alaihi wa Sallam, have nothing to do with these treasonous, treacherous breakers of their word, and their bond.
And now they had every moral and legal right to take steps to defend and protect themselves.
So, no one knows what the Qur’an really is. And what the Qur’an really says. And that includes too, too many people who so happily go about calling themselves Muslims.
