Egypt: Did You Vote Yet?
Did you vote yet, or no?
If you have not cast your vote yet, in the presidential elections in Egypt, get out and do it now.
Otherwise, don’t complain after 100 or 1000 years that God did not give you an opportunity to change the world – to bring Islam into the world, one more time.
And to stand up for truth, justice, equality – and Freedom and Democracy.
And if you are not an Egyptian, and if you are not actually in Egypt right now, then there is another way for you to vote: Go directly to Allah and register your vote.
Go find your Musalla – Prayermat – sit down on it and keep praying till the voting in Egypt is over Sunday night. Spend the next X number of hours begging Allah to make it happen: to make Islam happen in Egypt; to make truth happen in Egypt; to make justice, equality, Freedom and Democracy happen in Egypt.
Tonight is the 27th night of Rajab – of the Hijri year 1433. This is the night of Israa and Mi’araj. Islam is fighting for its life in Egypt tonight – in a manner of speaking, for, Islam is alive and well and always shall be. On this night, in this great Morality Play, in this Battle of Destiny, between Right and Wrong and between Good and Evil – and between Dr. Morsi and General Shafiq – in Egypt, there is no place for moral neutrality.
You are either with the Good Guys – and it is clear who they are: the Ikhwan and Dr. Morsi – or you are with the Bad Guys, and it is also clear who they are: Mubarak’s Regime and his pupil General Shafiq and the 30-year Military Emergency Rule.
So, don’t miss out tonight. Stop doing whatever you are doing and go vote for Good and Right and Freedom and Democracy and Dr. Morsi tonight – and all day tomorrow – with your tears and prayers before God.
END
