Helping Allah

Dr. Pasha

(Bringing Islam to the World One Concept at a Time!
Taking the Qur'an to Every Home and Heart that Needs It --
And which One Does Not?)

Allah does not need anyone's help. For, Allah is As-Swamad – the one who is totally and completely independent of others.

So also, Allah's work does not need anyone's help. For, Allah has no Shareek, no partner or associate of any kind, in anything he does.

Allah is Wah’dahoo laa shareeka lahu.

Therefore, Allah's work gets done when and how and where Allah wants it.

When Allah wants something to happen, all he does is say: "Be!" and there it is!

As the Qur'an says: Kun fa-Yakoon!

But it is our fate as human beings, and as self-proclaimed Muslims, that is tied to these things.

Both in this world and in the next world.

Therefore, whenever there is pressure, and when a crisis is looming, Allah looks to see who leaps to "help" him.

In tanswurullah, he says: If you will help him.

Then he will help you, he says: Yanswurkum,

All that is expected is that people will do their best – even if it is merely straightening a chair in a gathering.

Or simply proofreading a document and trying to catch and clean up the typos.

And there are always going to be those who try to do better than their best. They are the Swiddeequeen and Muqwarrabeen.

They are Allah’s friends.

In all ages and in all places.

They are Awuliyaa Allah. And they shall have neither fear nor grief.

Laa khawufun 'alayihim wa laa hum yahzanoon.

Allah is gracious. He is Kareem.

Allah remembers those who help him.

And those who drag their feet – and follow their egos (Hawaa’).

For, he is also 'Azeezun Dhuntiqwaam!
