Those who say, or think, they are working for Allah, one simple thing they may want to do is to figure out the following:
What is it that they really -- really, really, I mean --
want to accomplish?
Then, the next thing they may want to figure out is exactly how, using what means and methods, they would like to go about accomplishing the goal or goals they have set for themselves.
This has to do with clear thinking. And clear thinking is part, if not prerequisite, of what Qur'an calls Istiqaamat. As in:
Innalladheena Qaaloo Rabbunallahu Thummastaqamoo.
And at some levels, it may even be all of Islam. Study Hazrat Ibrahim, Alaihis Salam, in Qur'an, and you will know.
