Learning Arabic Only Possible
When Allah Opens Your Heart
Dr. Pasha
(Bringing Islam to the World One Concept at a Time.
Trying to Take the Qur'an to Every Home and Heart that Needs It --
And Which One Does Not?)
Arabic is Allah's Language, even though so are all the other languages of the world.
Right here in this world, in Aalam Ash-Shahaadah that is, Arabic is the language of the Qur'an. Anybody can see it with their own eyes.
No, translations, in any language, are not Qur'an. They are simply mortal human efforts to render in some other equally mortal languages the immortal Word of God Almighty, the Qur'an.
And Arabic is the language of Allah's Rasul, Sallallahu Alaihi wa Sallam. That is an immutable historical reality no one can deny.
This is also Aalam Ash-Shahaadah, things we can see, know and perceive through our senses. Albeit somewhat removed by historic time from our own time and place.
And Arabic, don't forget this, is also the Official Language of Jannat -- Paradise.
And that is Aalam al-Ghayib. The world that is not open to our senses. Meaning, a world that will not be revealed to us till our eyes close to this world and we die.
So, Arabic is the language for This World. As well as for the Next World.
Thus, Arabic is our language for Here and Now. And it is our Bridge to Eternity.
Every Muslim's language. And the language of every Muslim Wannabe -- whoever aspires to escape the Fire of Hell and find his way to God Almighty's Grace and Blessing and Rahmat.
With all that stuff going on with Arabic, both in This World and the Next World, in both Aalam al-Ghayib and Shahaadah, you Johnny-Come-Lately think you can treat this greatest of God's gifts to the Human Race with disrespect or indifference?
Or play with it how you wish? Ain't going to happen.
You, with all your confusions and doubts, and with all your Ego flings and fluctuations, you think you will just nod and Arabic will jump in your pocket?
Oh yes, it may and it will, but it will not be the language of Allah and his Rasul, Sallallahu Alaihi wa Sallam, and the Qur'an, but the language of Abu Jahl and Abu Lahab and Hellfire.
So, it just ain't going to happen.
Yes, if your body is clean, and if your mind is clean, if your soul is pure, and if your attitude is right, full of the most abject and unconditional Humility and Trepidation, and surrender and submission to Allah and his Rasul, Sallallahu Alaihi wa Sallam, and to the Qur'an, then yes, it will be a very different story altogether.
Almighty Allah may then deem it fit to lift the curtain, show you his wonders, remove the rust from your inside and connect you to the Qur'an through the medium of his Arabic Language.
The Rope of Allah that you must grab, and hold on to, with all the power, with all the resolve and with all the firmness and determination you can muster.
Hablullah al Mateen!
That is what Allah calls it.
Lan-Fisaama Lahaa!
It can neither fray, nor break nor unravel, Allah declares.
Otherwise, it is darkness upon darkness.
Zulumaatun Ba'duhaa Fawuqa Ba'ad!
And you will be no different dealing with it than a Blind Man.
Wa Huwa Alayihim Amaa!
Says the Qur'an.
