Letter to the President of a Muslim Community

Dr. Pasha

(Bringing Islam to the World One Concept at a Time!
Taking the Qur'an to Every Home and Heart that Needs It --
And which One Does Not?)

Assalamu Alaikum,

First, let me offer you and the Community my warm Eid Greetings

Eid Mubarak to All.

You honor me by saying you will share your thoughts with me and consult me on some ideas you have in mind. I ask for nothing more. And I am not going to be coy and say: No, don't do it.

I am not making a secret of the fact that I want to help, and that Allah has most graciously blessed me with some of the tools to help. Even if it is watering the plants or cleaning the Masjid premises or washing the cars of those who come to pray.

Of course, within the limits of my own health and the challenge of being in two places at the same time.

Since we are all on the Fast Train to meet Allah, I value the time Allah has given us. We as Muslims cannot act sooner or faster.

Inshallah, we will meet when it is most convenient to you.

You are not only my brother, a term that I do not use lightly, but also my leader. And that too an elected one. The only kind of leadership Islam fosters or accepts. A freely elected leadership.

So, I am entirely and fully at your service as Allah sees fit.

Wassalam,

Respectfully,

END
