Muslim Rootedness in the Qur'an
Dr. Pasha
(Bringing Islam to the World One Concept at a Time!
Taking the Qur'an to Every Home and Heart that Needs It --
And which One Does Not?)
Here are some simple questions everyone must pay serious attention to. And please forgive the monotony and repetitiveness of the answers I provide below.
1. Do Muslims ever say "Bismillah"? How many of them -- what percentage of them -- say it do you think?
If they do, then rest assured that Muslim life is deeply and unshakably rooted in the Qur'an.
For, this divine expression "Bismillah!" is taken directly from the pages of the Qur'an.
And used by the Muslims for the past 1400 years -- in every single part of the world.
2. Do Muslims ever say "Subhanallah"? How many of them -- what percentage of them -- say it do you think?
If they do, then rest assured that Muslim life is deeply and unshakably rooted in the Qur'an.
For, this divine expression "Subhanallah!" is taken directly from the pages of the Qur'an.
And used by the Muslims for the past 1400 years -- in every single part of the world.
3. Do Muslims ever say "Alhamdulillah"? How many of them -- what percentage of them -- say it do you think?
If they do, then rest assured that Muslim life is deeply and unshakably rooted in the Qur'an.
For, this divine expression "Alhamdulillah!" too is taken directly from the pages of the Qur'an.
And used by the Muslims for the past 1400 years -- in every single part of the world.
4. Do Muslims ever say "Laa Ilaaha Illallaah"? How many of them -- what percentage of them -- say it do you think?
If they do, then rest assured that Muslim life is deeply and unshakably rooted in the Qur'an.
For, just like all the other expressions above, this divine expression "Laa Ilaaha Illallaah!" too is taken directly from the pages of the Qur'an.
And used by the Muslims for the past 1400 years -- in every single part of the world.
5. Do Muslims ever say "Muhammadur Rasoolullaah"? How many of them -- what percentage of them -- say it do you think?
If they do, then rest assured that Muslim life is deeply and unshakably rooted in the Qur'an.
For, this divine expression "Muhammadur Rasoolullah!" is also taken directly from the pages of the Qur'an.
And used by the Muslims for the past 1400 years -- in every single part of the world.
6. Do Muslims ever say "Salaam Alaikum" to each other? How many of them -- what percentage of them -- say it do you think?
If they do, then rest assured that Muslim life is deeply and unshakably rooted in the Qur'an.
For, this divine expression "Salaam Alaikum!" is also taken directly from the pages of the Qur'an.
And used by the Muslims for the past 1400 years -- in every single part of the world.
So, this is who the Muslims are!
And this is how their life is directly and unalterably connected to the Qur'an!
And this is one simple and clear reason why Muslims will go on to live forever -- as long as the world lasts and so long as Allah wills.
And, also, this is part of the reason why this world will continue to receive its rations -- its "daily bread" as our Christian brothers and sisters would say -- and other means of survival on earth from God Almighty.
Because Muslims do what they do! And because the Muslims are holding on to the Qur'an -- to the Rope of Allah as the Qur'an puts it -- the way they do.
That is to say, because of the way in which Muslims lives are so directly and intimately tied to the Qur'an.
And that is in spite of all the other brazen and glaring ways in which the Muslims have chosen to disconnect themselves from the Qur'an.
And then imagine -- just imagine! -- what this world would have been like, if Muslims only had chosen to bring more Qur'an into their lives!
Into their individual lives -- as well as into their collective lives!
