Me: “Your foot is not false, it is real. And thank God for that. Otherwise, they will have to cut it off and put a prosthetic in its place.”
Me: “But you know in the world of covert operations False Flag is a given. You set off a blast and blame someone else. A convenient target you want to implicate or demonize. This goes on all the time, don’t you know that?”
You: “I know all about False Flag operations and I know all about PSYOP.”
Me: “It is just that you do not believe our media or our politicians will ever lie – let me correct that: Misrepresent facts? To suit their purposes, shall we say?”
You: “No, no, not that. The issue is a bit deeper than that. There is a clear theoretical path.”
Me: “Deeper issues, theoretical path, what is all this, a Structural Equations seminar?”
You: “It is the Koran you see. It is Islam.”
Me: “What on earth are you talking about: it is the Qur’an and it is Islam? How is the Qur’an and how is Islam involved in any of this?”
You: “Oh, the Koran is involved all right. If the Muslims are messed up it is because that is what the Qur’an teaches them. That is Islam for them.”
Me: “You lost me again.”
You: “Well, it is like this. Muslims are messed up, right? Where do they get that stuff from? From the Qur’an of course. It is the Qur’an that teaches them violence and all sorts of other terrible things. Otherwise, where will the Muslims get this sort of stuff from if not from their Islam?”
Me: “The Qur’an teaches Muslims bad things, does it? All right, let me ask you this: How do you know the Qur’an has bad things to teach?”
Me: “Did you ever read the Qur’an?”
You: “No, as a matter of fact, I did not. But it is obvious, is it not?”
You: “If the Muslims are doing this, and they follow the Qur’an, and they believe in Islam, then the Qur’an and Islam must have taught it to them to begin with.”
You: “Otherwise, how will Muslims get it if not from the Qur’an and if not from Islam?”
Me: “Let me see if I got this straight. Muslims are bad. Muslims follow Qur’an. Muslims follow Islam. At least so they say. So, Muslims must have gotten all this bad stuff from the Qur’an and from Islam? Is that what you are saying?”
You: “Thus far, yes. That is right.”
Me: “And then you are saying if Muslims got all this bad stuff from the Qur’an, then the Qur’an and Islam must be bad to begin with. Is that also what you are saying?”
You: “But it is obvious, is it not?”
Me: “What is obvious to me is that this looks like a perfect Chicken-and-Egg argument: Muslims are bad because Qur’an is bad; and Qur’an is bad because Muslims are bad. That is what it sounds like to me: a perfect circle of an argument.”
You: “You may call it what you want. But facts are facts.”
Me: “Are they?”
You: “Are they not? If Muslims are not doing all this mayhem and all these terrible things, then who is?”
Me: “Who indeed? That, as Shakespeare would say, is the question.”
You: “Sushi?”
Me: “Why not? There is nothing like raw fish to bury a chicken-and-egg argument in.”
Did I imagine all this? I don’t know.
But that is how this perfect Muslims-Islam-Qur’an Whodunit was solved, if it was solved at all, with some help, not from Agatha Christie, but from a local chicken-and-egg combo.
