Or Just Say: La Ilaha Illallah! [Quote – 1017]

Apr 13, 2020

Pope Francis has crafted some beautiful words to impress upon everybody the need to make this world a better place to live for all of Humankind. The Pope's words sound profound and heartfelt.

I picked up the Pope's words from an Internet portal of some kind, whose veracity and validity I cannot vouch for. But the words ring true.

After reading the Pope's Message below, the thought that leaped to my mind was why not do away with all this beating about the bush and just say La Ilaha Illallah? That should cover the whole situation beautifully.

Because who can deny that the idolatry of money, sex, name, fame and power are directly behind a lot of the mess in which the world is today.

In other words the world is in the mess it is in today because the world has abandoned the 10 Commandments, at the top of which is La Ilaha Illallah.

And idolatry of wealth, sex, name, power and all that is a direct violation of the First Commandment.

Here is the Pope's Message taken from the Internet:

"I hope that this time of danger will free us from operating on automatic pilot, shake our sleepy consciences and allow a humanist and ecological conversion that puts an end to the idolatry of money and places human life and dignity at the center," Francis said. "Our civilization — so competitive, so individualistic, with its frenetic rhythms of production and consumption, its extravagant luxuries, its disproportionate profits for just a few — needs to downshift, take stock, and renew itself."
