Reading Qur’an – or praying or fasting or going to Hajj – is no substitute for working for Allah, which is basically inviting the whole world to Allah with love and respect.
Working for Allah means leaving no stone unturned in the service of humanity – Muslim and non-Muslim – and God’s wider creation, using the book of Allah as guide and the example of Prophet Muhammad, Sallallahu Alaihi wa Sallam, as model.
