Allah is the Light of the Heavens and the Earth.
Allahu Noorus Samaawaati Wal Ard!
Muhammad, Sallallahu Alaihi wa Sallam, is God’s Lighted Lamp that God Almighty sent into the world to illumine the world.
Daa-'iyan Ilallahi Bi-Indhnihi wa Siraajan Muneera!
Qur’an is God Almighty’s Divine Light that God Almighty placed in the hands of his beloved Messenger Muhammad, Sallallahu Alaihi wa Sallam!
Fa-Aaminoo Billahi wa Rasulihi wan Noorilladhi Anzalna.
And God Almighty did that so his Messenger Muhammad, Sallallahu Alaihi wa Sallam, can extricate People out of the layers upon layers of darkness that surround them.
And bring them to the Divine Light – of truth; of justice; of human dignity and equality; of rationality and inquiry; and a life of single-minded service to God Almighty and his creation.
Li-Tukhrijan-Naasa Minaz Zulumaati Ilan-Noor!
And, at the same time, God Almighty lit in the hearts and minds of each individual – man and woman – a Candle of Rationality and Natural Curiosity so each person can use that very personal and specialized flash of divine light within to retrace their steps out of darkness, and to find his or her way to God’s Earthly Lamp, Muhammad, Sallallahu Alaihi wa Sallam.
And to God’s Light, the Qur’an.
And ultimately to that overpowering and blinding Light in all of Universe that is God Almighty’s own.
Wa Yaj’al Lakum Nooran Tamshoona Bihi.
