Summum Bonum: The Highest Good

How to Save the World, Everything, Together!

Taking the Qur'an to Every Home and Heart that Needs It --
And which One Does Not?)
The best thing in life is to Serve and Save Humanity.
And you do this by helping Humanity -- People, All People -- find its way to success, goodness and happiness in a chaotic and confusing world.
Call it Summum Bonum, if you will. Latin I suppose, which means: The Highest Good.
Meaning: The nicest and the most wonderful thing anyone can do.
A higher Summum Bonum, if you ask me, could be to Serve and Save Muslims -- All Muslims Everywhere.
And that means helping Muslims, all Muslims, save themselves from the imminent peril of total and comprehensive annihilation, including Self-Destruction.
And that means a near total wipe out of the Muslims' moorings and roots as well as their bearings and direction.
And of their natural and adopted habitats around the world -- the old world as well as the new world, to borrow these cliches from their users.
Not to say, their physical existence as well as their spiritual essence and psychological identity and complexion.
So, another great Summum Bonum is to help Muslims find their true moorings in Islam, on the one hand, and their right direction and bearings in this world, on the other hand, using the Twin Compass of the Qur'an and the Hadith, which are really the two anchors of the Muslims' worldly and other worldly life.
Saving Muslims is critical, at least in part, because if you save the Muslims, and help them to become truer and better Muslims, with their feet firmly rooted in the Qur'an and Hadith, they will in turn shoulder their original responsibility of Serving and Saving the World and of Serving and Saving Humanity.
Muslims will then deliver in this world by saving the world. As they once did for several centuries on end filling this world, from one end to the other, with such things as Truth, Justice, Mercy, Equality, Liberty and Compassion.
Not only for themselves and their friends. But also for their adversaries and enemies. Such as the Crusaders for example.
From this point of view, the highest and the noblest and the most wonderful of all kinds and levels of Summum Bonum is to Serve Islam.
I say "Serve Islam," not "Save Islam," because Islam is directly and completely under the protection of God Almighty and does not need any "saving" from its wobbly, intermittent and occasional self-proclaimed Muslim-Human adherents.
Or from anyone else.
And, therefore, the best way to Serve Islam, Save Muslims and Help Humanity -- the greatest and the best Summum Bonum of all Summum Bonum -- is: To Take the Qur'an to Every Home and Heart that Needs It -- and Which One Does Not!
For, the Qur'an is where the action is.
And the Hadith is the most authentic, complete and practical Interpretation and Working Manual of the Qur'an.
That, by far, is the best and surest way to Save the World. And not only the present world. But also the next world that is yet to come.
And by Saving the Next World I mean making sure everybody tries to safeguard their own place of honor and dignity in that eternal abode of peace and tranquility that the Qur'an calls Jannat.
And that the rest of the world refers to as Paradise.
