Some Simple and Clear Things
Islam teaches some simple and clear things.
Islam teaches that you must love and fear God.
Islam teaches that you must love and honor your fathers and mothers, whether or not they are Muslim.
Islam teaches that you must love and serve your neighbors, whether or not they are Muslims.
Love and Honor Your Guest
Islam teaches that you must love and honor your guests, whether or not they are Muslims.
Islam teaches that you must love and help your relatives and friends, whether or not they are Muslim.
Islam teaches that you must love and help the poor and the needy, whether or not they are Muslim.
Love and Honor All of Humanity
Islam teaches that you must love and serve all of humanity, regardless of creed, color, gender or nationality.
Islam teaches that you must cherish, protect and conserve all of God’s creation in every way you can.
Love and Honor Prophet Muhammad, Sallallahu Alaihi wa Sallam
At the same time, Islam also teaches that you are not a Muslim, if you do not love and honor Prophet Muhammad, Sallallahu Alaihi wa Sallam, more than all your worldly possessions and properties.
Islam teaches that you are not a Muslim if you do not love and honor Prophet Muhammad, Sallallahu Alaihi wa Sallam, more than all your jobs, careers and businesses.
You are not a Muslim, if you do not love and honor Prophet Muhammad, Sallallahu Alaihi wa Sallam, more than your own brothers and sisters.
More than Your Own Sons and Daughters
You are not a Muslim, if you do not love and honor Prophet Muhammad, Sallallahu Alaihi wa Sallam, more than your own sons and daughters.
You are not a Muslim, if you do not love and honor Prophet Muhammad, Sallallahu Alaihi wa Sallam, more than your wives and husbands and all other relatives and friends in the world.
More than Your Own Fathers and Mothers
You are not a Muslim, if you do not love and honor Prophet Muhammad, Sallallahu Alaihi wa Sallam, more than your own mothers and fathers.
You are not a Muslim, if you do not love and honor Prophet Muhammad, Sallallahu Alaihi wa Sallam, more than all the other human beings in the world.
You are not a Muslim, if you do not love and honor Prophet Muhammad, Sallallahu Alaihi wa Sallam, more than everything else in this world.
More than Your Own Self
You are not a Muslim, if you do not love and honor Prophet Muhammad, Sallallahu Alaihi wa Sallam, more than your own self.
Islam also teaches that one of the finest forms of prayer and worship is blessing Prophet Muhammad, Sallallahu Alaihi wa Sallam.
Muslims around the world know these principles. And most of them constantly endeavor to measure up to these standards of Islam as best as they can.
Love God and Serve Humanity
Thus, Islam teaches us to love and fear and serve God.
And Islam teaches us to love and honor and obey God’s Prophet, Muhammad, Sallallahu Alaihi wa Sallam.
And Islam teaches us to love and honor and serve all of humanity.
And Islam teaches us to love and honor and serve all of God’s creation.
That Is Islam
That is Islam.
It is the perfect system of belief and behavior that God sent into the world so human beings can live a better life on earth.
That is what the Qur’an came into this world to teach.
And that is what Prophet Muhammad, Sallallahu Alaihi wa Sallam, came into this world to teach.
And that is what Islam teaches.
