Egypt: A Wird for Victory
Wa Mannasru Illaa Min 'Indillahil 'Azeezil Hakeem.
Dr. Pasha
(Bringing Islam to the World One Concept at a Time!
Taking the Qur'an to Every Home and Heart that Needs It --
And which One Does Not?)
Call it a Wird, or call it a Wazweefah.
Basically, it is an Aayat – a passage – of the Qur'an. And that is reason enough to make it the most monumental thing in the entire universe.
For, every word of Allah is a miracle. And it is a sign – that is what the word Aayah means in Arabic, generally speaking – that points the way to all kinds of blessings untold, both known and unknown, both small and large.
And how “small” can Allah’s smallest blessing be, do you think?
And how will you, as a mere mortal human being, ever be able to handle any of the “large” blessings of Allah?
You saw what happened to Musa, Alaihis Salaam, when Allah’s light shone on the mountain.
Musa, Alaihis Salam, had asked Allah to show himself to him.
Allah said: No way! But look toward that mountain, if it stays in its place, then maybe you will be able to see me.
And then when God’s light shone on the mountain, the mountain turned to dust. As for Musa, Alaihis Salaam, he fell to the ground unconscious.
That is part of the human record in being able to handle the power of divine manifestations on earth.
So, this Wird or Wazweefah is packed to the brim with all kinds of blessings and benefits – both in this world and the next world.
And it comes encrypted with all kinds of the most awesome powers and capabilities, including the power to turn victory into defeat and defeat into victory; to move mountains and rivers from their place; and to turn rocks to particles of dust.
Reciting and chanting this Wird will pack your life with all kinds of blessings – blessings you know and blessings you don’t.
So, do it.
Today being Friday, you cannot think of a better day or time to start.
Of course you don't have to do it if you don't want to. For, that is Islam.
Islam means, barring the requirements of law, no one has to do anything they don't want to do. And that, let me repeat, is Islam.
So, here is that Wird, that Wazweefah, and that Aayat Kareemah from the Qur'an:
Wa Mannasru Illaa Min 'Indillahil 'Azeezil Hakeem.
Paraphrase:
“Help – and victory – can only come from God, the most powerful, the most wise!”
And as you recite and chant this Wird, keep in mind the poor, oppressed, brutalized Egyptian People, who have been denied even some of their most basic human rights for close to 100 years.
And keep the Ikhwan and Dr. Morsi in mind, who are fighting – using the most peaceful and lawful means available to them – to secure for the Egyptian People these rights.
Don’t worry if the deed in Egypt is done, no matter what that deed may be. Just read this Wird Sharif, whenever you see it and whenever you are able to read it.
For, in every situation, Allah knows what the right thing is to do – and he always does it.
Wallahu Ghaalibun 'alaa Amrihi, as the Qur’an declares it most categorically.
Besides, nothing has the power to alter Allah’s Qadaa – meaning Allah’s decision and decree in this world – except Du’a.
That means Allah has placed in your feeble and often foolish hands the power to alter the workings of the universe.
So go ahead, and in the name of God, use that power. Keep reading and reciting and chanting this Wird Sharif – at least till the Good News from Egypt is complete, firm and irrefutable.
And also keep in mind all the other poor, oppressed people in all parts of the world, regardless of their race, religion or gender.
For, all that is Islam.
And that is what Islam came into this world to do: to give all the poor, oppressed people of the world their usurped rights back – among them the most basic rights of Life, Liberty and the Government of their own choosing.
And Freedom, as Jefferson was to put it 1000 years later, from all forms of tyranny over their minds, bodies and souls.
