How We Do IslamicSolutions.Com
(Bringing Islam to the World One Concept at a Time!
Taking the Qur'an to Every Home and Heart that Needs It --
And which One Does Not?)
The principle is simple. And it is taken directly from the Hadith Sharif that says:
Wa Laa Tu’assiroo!
Meaning couldn’t be plainer:
“Make things easy and simple,
Do not make things difficult!”
Allahu Akbar! What a Hadith: Proof in itself that this Hadith has to be from Allah and his Rasul, Sallallahu Alaihi wa Sallam!
So, our goal in everything we do in relation to www.IslamicSolutions.Com should be to create easy access for everybody everywhere for downloading and reading our material.
And that is because we are primarily teachers and educators.
And we are people dedicated to inviting people – all people – to Allah and his Rasul, Sallallahu Alaihi wa Sallam!
And to Allah’s book the Qur’an.
And we are not media merchants writing articles, or creating audio and video tapes, to make a buck or earn a living.
In fact, in the past, every time we tried something even remotely approaching that, we failed – miserably.
Nor are we Islamic mercenaries and Mullahs for Hire, using Islam as a meal ticket or as an instrument of name and fame for ourselves.
So, in promoting www.IslamicSolutions.Com we cannot blindly and mindlessly jump into all the Lizard’s Holes our Christian and Jewish friends do.
And all too many of their Muslim faithful and followers and blind admirers do.
For example, we cannot start using all kinds of textual, topical or visual teasers and tricks to somehow lure unwary visitors to read this page, access that program or download some audio.
We just don’t. Because, we just cannot and will not.
So, to ask people to provide all kinds of personal information, including their e-mail addresses, before they are able to access or download and read something on www.IslamicSolutions.Com is creating unnecessary hardship for them.
It is setting up another obstacle in their path.
It is erecting another barrier between our visitors and Islam, just the opposite of what we set out to do.
But yes, here is something we can do, and should have done, or maybe we did, a long time ago: we can respectfully request all our visitors to very kindly and graciously leave their e-mail address with us and also to share with us whatever other information they feel comfortable sharing – such as their country and town or city of residence and what kind of job or business they do and all that sort of thing.
In the end, we should continually remind and alert each other about all the Lizard’s Holes that are strewn on the prairies we traverse in our journey of Working for Allah – and of inviting Allah’s People to Allah and His Book and His Rasul, Sallallahu Alaihi wa Sallam!
We should tell each other all the time:
Hey, look out for the Lizard’s Holes!
Just because we see so many of our friends entering them,
let us not also dive into them!
